Rodeo Goat Dallas
In the mood for a good burger in Dallas? Put Rodeo Goat Dallas on your list.
On my first of several trips to Rodeo Goat (in 2016), I was quickly hooked. I had the best server I’ve had in a long time — Nandy.
My friend had the Royal With Cheese and paired it with a Revolver Sidewinder. I had the Telluride Burger paired with a Real Ale Fireman (special thanks to Nandy for letting me taste test a couple brews). While we waited for our meals, we went outside and played the ring on a string game, with a friendly little wager (guess who won?).
The burgers and hand-punched fries at Rodeo Goat are consistently delicious. You can get your burger meat cooked however you prefer. You can also add or subtract whatever toppings you’d like.
During my most recent visit (November 2018), I took a fellow food blogger with me. She was in from out of town for a client project. As usual, the burgers and fries were amazing … and I wasn’t the only one who thought so.
Once again, I ordered the Telluride Burger (my favorite). Luckily, my allergy to cow’s milk doesn’t extend to goal milk, so I indulged in goat cheese on my burger. My only difficulty was trying to fit this tasty sandwich in my mouth!
My friend ordered the Sugar Burger, which she enjoyed, although said it got a tad too sweet about half-way through. Between the unique toppings and the Texas-sourced beef from 44 Farms, our burgers were a flavor explosion. We also shared the hand-cut fries (so crispy!), and my friend enjoyed a pecan hand pie (made by Puttin on the Ritz Catering).
If you’re near the Design District in Dallas, it’s worth stopping in and giving this place a try. They have a dog-friendly patio, so you can even bring Fido.
Rodeo Goat also has locations in Fort Worth (the original Rodeo Goat), Frisco, Garland and Houston.
Rodeo Goat Dallas is located at 1926 Market Center Blvd.
